The power quality improvement system is based on Internet of things. We use FPGA+ARM chips as the main controller of power quality improvement terminal equipment to control of reactive current, harmonic current and unbalanced current in power grid. Using cloud technology, wireless communication technology, network technology and other Internet of things technologies, we design mobile terminal application and server-side application to achieve remote monitoring of terminal devices. The system has been put into use in many provinces, such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Hainan. By monitoring of multiple power quality data, such as system voltage, system current, load current and compensation current showed that the quality of power had been significantly improved after the use of the equipment.
